Everyone has eaten cod in one form or another.  So the question is: are all cods created equal, and are they different from one source to another?  If you prefer Alaska's pristine conditions over the rest of the west coast, then Alaskan cod is for you.  If you like your Pacific cod seared, baked, or saute, then Alaskan cod is best since it has a higher moisture & oil content than the rest.  If you like your cod breaded and battered fried, then Atlantic cod is best since it has less moisture & oil content than Alaskan cod.  In short, this is a great everyday fish due to its flavor, oil content, and price.
